Circle R Ranch Wear Outfits Oprah Winfrey

DALLAS - "Howdy Dallas!" That's what Oprah said as huge applause erupted when she walked out on stage at the State Fair of Texas today. She said, "Y'all sure know how to make a girl feel welcome!"Fan Christina Sons says, "We drove in from Austin so we could come and see her together." Fans were anxious to see what the superstar would look like in person. Shirley Johnson says, "I had the binoculars, she looked good, I didn't want to miss anything." But even though dozens of police patrolled the premises, the audience had no trouble getting through security. Melissa Mueller said, "It was real easy, we just parked in the parking lot and walked straight in." During the taping she announced her pick for Best in Show State Fair dishes, and surprised them with prizes of decked out kitchen appliances. Then she brought out Martina McBride for a special performance.
Now you know that Oprah would not show up in Texas without wearing the
perfect authentic getup and we found out where she got her custom made boots and
hat, right here at the State Fair's Circle R Ranch. I asked Don Reim, owner of
the store, "So how did you know what was going to be the best hat for her?" And
he said, "I chose it for the length of her face, the width of her shoulders and
we put the crease in it to balance her features out." I asked him, "Can I try
that one on?" And he said, "certainly!" I asked him, "What did you get for Oprah
to match this beautiful hat?" And he said, "We had a a custom pair of Lucchese
built for her." And with her new lizard boots and a Stetson hat, Oprah added a
little bling to complete her wardrobe.
Shirley Johnson said, "She had a gold microphone, it was off the chain!" And Debra Deloach said, "I think she's got the Texas thing down pretty good." The show which will probably air next week, will show what else Oprah had up her sleeve at the State Fair this year. Copyright © 2009, KDAF-TV
